A cutting diet is obviously supposed to get you lean. As far as the number of calories go, do you want to consume slightly less calories then your maintanence level or the same amount?

If you wanted to lose weight then you would eat less calories.

Ok, is there a rule of thumb for how much less i should eat. I don't want to lose too much muscle. Also i see people'c cutting diets and it seems like they stay away from cardio... I would think cardio would help slim a person down. Right?

When and why should a caffeine pill be taken also?

Thanks

You can have a look at the guidelines in my sig for how I manipulate things for my cutter if you like. Many of your questions are addressed there.
