Hey from and interview S. Mendelson said working Brachialis (hammer curl)
would help increase bench. How ? Anyone ever hear that?
It was from critical bench.

Other tips include weighing 300+lbs, and being really, really strong.
God, we're gonna see legions of big-bench wannabes doing nothing but hammer curls now.

Your brachialis helps stabilize your elbow, so when you start to handle heavier weights on board presses or when wearing bench shirts your elbows don't get as sore. I had to learn this by myself through experimentation.
Cool thanks for clearing that up.

Not only that, but when you do hammer curls one it prevents injury especially if you deadlift. If you have strong bi's and tri's you will never have a problem with lock out, or stabilizing the weight.. It really helps you stay explosive.
