i spent the weekend at my cousins and he told me that he puts some of his protein powder in his pancake batter. would this be a waste of protein powder or would this actually do some good??

I dont believe the powder needs to be disimilated to work...

Why would it be a waste?

i have added protein powder to panecakes.
However they are not as nice as normal pancakes as the protein interfere with the dough forming and making them heavy.

Wouldn't a small amount of nutrition be lost due to the "cooking" of the protein? Therefore, if your concerned about wasting any, wouldn't it be a better idea to just add it to a liquid and drink it "uncooked"?

your not likely to cook a pancake that long, its not liek you are burning it to a cinder. I would not worry about it.

The easiest way to avoid that is to use tons of egg whites instead of the powder, you can always toss in some cottage cheese in there as well, when i make pancakes i can get them up to 40-50g protein easily without any powder.
