Because your body is made of 70% water, it helps deliver nutrients throughout your body.

Your body uses alot of it and 70% or more of you body is made of water. Working out or being physicaly active drains your water storage through sweat and you need to replace it. Your body also expends water stores to just function. The average person should be drinking around 3/4 to 1 gallon of water each and every day, and even more when heavily active. People involved in strenous sports such as lifting and playing football, basketball, hockey and ect need alot more water. Its also recommend to up the water dosege for protein and creatine consumption.
