My older brother eats whatever he wants and has never been into reading labels or working out. He was eating these Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme cookies earlier today and I almost died when I read the label. Close to 500 calories, 75 g of carbs, 35 g of sugars ... in ONE cookie. :omg:
I couldn't believe it. Does anyone know of some other absolutely horrible foods that labels have looked like a misprint but have just been very grossly unhealthy?

there's no shortage of crappy foods, that's for certain.

the little debbie thing got my attention though because when i was in college, our physics prof was a huge little debbie star crunch addict. we even did a physics problem with the nutrition information and found out that a star crunch had enough energy (calories) in it to lift a 180 pound guy like 20 feet in the air or somethin' like that. i don't remember the exact numbers but you get the point.

on the bright side... there's no other food that offers such a high calorie per dollar value.

BAH! I could eat like 3 burrittos and 4 tacos and still have room to spare for some nachos! Then again, I'd be sitting on the toilet for 5 hours.

Heh, I usually get the 10 taco platter and spice it up with a drink and 2 chillie and cheese buritos.

Teddy Grahams have 2g of trans fat per 13 pieces (small little bears). Theres about 100 pieces in each bag, and when I was younger I used to sometimes have a whole bag in one serving. Sickening isn't it?

I remember that link, funny as hell. "I think it's safe to say that we're not getting any of the more choice cuts with these."

Alot of things have tons of calories. Almost any kinds of snack cakes, ice creams, pizza, almost all fast foods, frozen tv dinners, sodas and on and on.

Tell me about it, when I was younger and less health concious I would drink 20-30 sodas in a day, I never realized how many calories that was until I started lifting, makes me sick just thinking about it.

I know, I used to slam back the sodas myself.... Ive all but stoped drinking soda. Im lucky to drink one per week now. I once remeber drinking a 24 pack of dr pepper in less then 10 hours.
