Alright. First off let me just say that I'm not actually going to try this. So I dont want ppl freaking out telling me it's bad or good or whatever. It's just an idea I had when I was bored at work.

Ok so I figured what are the fewest foods that would probably cover most or all of our dietary needs. I figured that a diet composed of:

assorted nuts, fish, fruits and veggies would probably cover all of our needs. You have your EFAs in the nuts and fish, all minerals in the nuts and veggies, and all the vitamins in the F&V's. In terms of protein, fish and nuts are pretty good sources. Phytochemicals, fibre...it's all covered. Just gotta make sure that it's an ASSORTMENT of the foods.

Maybe to shake things up, some oatmeal prepared with milk, and steak once a week.

Again, I'm not actually going to try this (high mercury in fish, etc...), but what do you guys think?

I don't see much wrong with it. Throw a multivitamin in there just in case, and you're good to go.
