When I take creatine I always make sure not to take any on nights I might drink beer. Mainly due to the dehydration factor. I am about to pick up some Vitrix, and I was wondering how I should handle drinking while I use it. Should I just not take any on days I drink, or should I not drink at all while taking it? Number 2 is not really an option, so I would like to know how to be safe while taking the pills and drinking. Also, is there a need to run anything else with Vitrix to protect liver or anything else?

i swear all your questions have to do with some new supplement you are gonna buy/use and drinking... im pretty sure all the past advice will also apply here.

all i need is an answer to the question. I'm not a competing bodybuilder, and I may never see immaculate results. I also have a nightlife and I also perform music on a regular basis. At least I'm trying to be safe about **** unlike a lot of people. Vitrix is a lot different than other stuff I've asked about.

Yeah, no offense, but I've noticed that too. I gave advice on that diuretic you were asking a while back and then you brought up similar questions about it no long after.

ok, when you guys get tired of flaming me and you feel like giving me a useful answer let me know. I've been posting here for a few yesrs, and I've posted about a lot more than drinking + supps. But since I am fairly intelligent, I like to know that what I'm doing is safe before doing it. If that's a crime than haul me off...

That 30 dollar bottle will last you exactly 15 training days, assuming you follow the directions. That 30 dollars is for a tribulus product which includes another phyto chemical. I think you read to evaluate things a little more.
We're not flaming you.

so...
a) he shouldn't have wasted his money and
b) you'd think he could go 2 weeks without drinking

I was going to get more than one bottle. And honestly all I know about the **** is that it increases your natural test. I am a trainer, and I know a lot about weight training and cardio, but I do not know a great deal about supplements and side effects. So would I need to totally avoid drinking while taking the product, or just not take the pills on days I drink?

You're asking how to best use a supplement on the days you'll be drinking? That makes no sense at all.

*sighs*
I am trying to see if I should NOT TAKE ANY PILLS if I think I might drink a few beers that day?
Or would it be safe to take them and drink beers a few hours later?
Or should I totally not touch beer while taking them?
And do I need to take a liver aid while taking them?
Why all the beating around the bush, just need the simple answers.

My point with the price/product comparrison is that imo you should not even bother

Vitex and Tribulus appear to be the biggest players in this herbal mix. Trib is supposed to work by stimulating LH, and Vitex is purported to inhibit prolactin. Neither of these is implicated in liver toxicity from what I've read. My husband takes Trib for bulking, and we both appreciate its, um, other properties. :evillaugh I'm looking into Vitex and horny goat weed, but we haven't tried either of these yet. Trib is very, very cheap. Dunno what you're paying for the Vitrix.
About your liver. Vitrix isn't a steroid.
I don't think you have to worry about your liver from it.
Now that alcohol you drink ...
Maybe you need to write a book - "The Party Animal's Guide to Bodybuilding Supplements", or maybe "How to drink a lot of beer and only look like you drink a little bit of beer".
Seriously. You'll probably get better gains from good food and a good routine if you ditch the alcohol than you will if you continue to drink and take Vitrix.
Alcohol contains empty calories, inhibits muscle synthesis and halts fat burning until the alchol is gone. But if you must drink, I don't think it will matter when you take this herbal supplement.
My .02.
Good luck, in any event.

It's fine to drink and use tribulus at the same time. It won't hurt your liver any more than drinking w/o supplements would. It also won't hurt your gains any more than drinking w/o supplements would. In other words, the 2 are completely unrelated.

There is no reason to not take creatine the days you drink. It doesn't dehydrate you.

really paul.. thanks
I have spent a lot of time learning about weight training and nutrition, but I really am new with the supplement game. That is why my number one concern is safety. As far as the drinking... I am 22 and I do music, in all honestly I should be a drug using drunk, but I'm not. I eat healthy everyday for the most part, and I love to train. My one downfall is my nightlife. And the fact I LOVE BEER. Bodybuilding is something I will do my entire life, so I'm not incredibly worried if I lose some gains while having a good time in the process. Only when I choose to compete would I take it to that extreme. When I'm done with my younger years, and I calm down I will have plenty of time to totally dedicate every part of my diet and exercise to achieving all of my goals. I believe I will do that. So in the meantime I'd like to continue lifting, having fun, and BEING SAFE. That is the reason I ask questions that some of you flame me for. Sorry, I still love you all.
In a totally hetrosexual way.... :)

Just eat well and lift heavy. You don't need any weird supps - stick to the basics - Food, whey, dextrose, creatine. Iron.

hmm
So if you're using creatine and you don't drink enough water, it doesnt take water that would otherwise hydrate you, it merely doesn't utilize all the creatine?

Can you expand on this a bit Paul?

What is there to expand on?
Drink enough water, and you have no problems.

Creatine isn't a diuretic.
