Hi,
What do you think is the best choice (i.e. least bad) as a dessert during a cheat meal: chocolate cake, cheesecake or ice cream, assuming that total calories are the same? Should one try to minimize sat. fat or sugar?
Thanks.

Cheesecake would have the most protein, so I'd go with the cheesecake.

If it's a cheat meal then why are you worrying about which one is healthiest? Have the chocolate. Why? it tastes better, that's why.

yea I would choose cheesecake over regular choclate cake, much creamier and just taste better. But if I had to choose between choclate cake/cheesecake/ice cream I'd choose the DQ cheesecake blizzard and get best of both worlds=)

I think cheesecake, in general, has more sat. fat than other choices (but, probably, less sugar). No?

If you're gonna do it, do it properly.

Cheesecake FTW!
fat, protein, carb content is the best out of the 3 with carbs being on the lower end of the spectrum, and with likely the best protein content of the 3. Also, one could use decent substitutes (splenda/sugarfree sweeteners) for the crust(if you don't eat it crustless) if it's homemade.

Didn't wanna say this, but if its no holds barred I'd do Fried cheesecake cubes w/whipped cream and strawberry jam, like the ones at Longhorn. Downright sinful imho.
