View Full Version : A Slim Update
06-10-2005, 07:50 PM
Small update, taken after workout.
193 lbs (down from 200)
Legs look very out of proportion due to most of my blood being in upper body.
The left leg looks bigger than the right, and it is.
Chest sucks, and always has.

Traps look ill in that pose.
BF% has gotta be 10% or less.

great traps, calves look like a weak point for ya, like alot of others too. great pic though

good god! you look awesome! :)
Actually, the right leg looks bigger than the left.
06-10-2005, 09:09 PM
ya but traps are insane!
06-10-2005, 09:54 PM
Traps do look good. 5'10 is a good height for that weight. You've gotta be close to 8%.
From that angle, IMO, your legs both look the same... pathetic. ;)
j/k bro, they look damn good. way better than mine
BTW, I'm from Ohio. Little town called Steubenville, south of canton/akron and all that ****, right along the ohio river, also 45mins west of pittsburgh pa. How's the weather? other than hot and extremely humid :D

Ok, this is a "half drunk" post so please accept all errors.
Thanks a ton for all the comments. I must be a moron b/c I can't tell right from left. It is the right leg that is bigger.
Little Jake, I've definately heard of Steubenville and from what I know there's a big high school football tradition, much like here in Cincy (Elder, Moeller, Xaiver, etc.)
The humidity blows and I'd much rather deal with dry heat 120s to 140s on the west coast or Saudi Arabia

DAYUM! Honey, you look GREAT! Killer set of traps on ya!
06-11-2005, 03:19 PM
Hell yeah, those traps are the biggest I've seen. You're legs look disproportionate to your upper body, though, man.
06-11-2005, 04:06 PM
I'm lucky to have the same shape you have on those traps; now I just gotta build mine up!
You look great bro, legs have good seperation. You don't necessarily need "huge" legs for them to look good.
06-11-2005, 07:28 PM
you look great man
06-11-2005, 07:33 PM
I agree on the legs. They have a very, um, pleasing shape <drools> :drooling:

Thanks again for all the comments, especially Built and getfit :)
Just a comment on the legs again, they do look out of proportion in the pic, mainly because I had like zero pump in them, as opposed to the upper body. I was actually feeling very depleted that day, esp by the end of the workout. But enough excuses.
Also the question came up in a PM so I'll just answer it on here in case anyone else is wondering. I am natural, for the time being at least. It's very tempting to take the next step, after seeing the progress of a close relative whose diet and training is quite sub-par compared to mine.
The idea of competing as early as October has enetered my mind, mainly due to encoragement from others. Anyone who has experince competeing, what are your thoughts and advice relating to the point I'm at now?

Legs looking great. Traps are freaking huge. Keep it up :ninja:

The choice is yours man, im not a body builder so i cant say but if your interested you should go check out the anabolic forum and gather as much info about it as possible. You look great but if you wanna get to that next level ya gotta do what ya gotta do right. Traps by the way!
traps are monster. chest doesn't look all bad in that shot, looks like you have some striations there....

Awesome physique bro, you look great. Legs look good too, that pose just doesnt flatter them and your shorts are only halfway up, another reason they look overshadowed. Overall you look really good and if you want to compete I feel you would do very well.

you make cincy proud.

Thanks again to y'all for the positive comments. I never really thought of my traps of anything special.
Smalls: short question about competition diet...obviously I would do more research into it, but my gym sets up pre contest diets for anyone who wants it and they typically consist of no carb/high protein/very high fat. Essentially, it's the Atkins diet with carb up days (I'm assuming) The big thing is also to include tons of heavy wipping cream, which at first thought, I'm not very fond of. Just wondering what your take on any of this is.
Raniali, The only reason I would make Cincy proud is b/c your not here anymore to show me up.
