Does bulking always have you feeling bloated? Is there anything you can eat, drink to make you feel less bloated?

maybe eat things that in smaller portions, have more calories? ie. natty pb vs, having huge portions of things that have a smaller caloric value.

The thing is most of my protein comes from whole foods (chicken/tuna/turkey) I eat plenty of natty PB and CC. By then end of the day around 5th or 6th meal I feel like im going to explode lol.

I havnt found anything yet, I just try and schedule meals such that it doesnt interfere with my daily routine.

I used to feel the same way until I switched to a primarily liquid diet. Since the switch my energy has picked up, no bloat, my appetite seems to have improved, practically no cooking or prep, extremely cheap, and my training is going awesome. I'm not saying you should do it, but I certainly wish I had tried it sooner.

By liquid diet you mean shakes right? If so can you give me some ideas of some good shakes?

I was just on fitday and tried putting few things that would look like they would taste good together and this is what I came up with.

1 Banana/ 10Strawberries/ 3scoops of choclate flavor whey/1cup of raw oatmeal/ 2cups of skim milk/ 4Tbsp of natty PB/ 1cup of CC(or I can just eat the CC after the shake if it makes it nastey)/ Ice

came out to be Cals:1440 Fat:43g/Carbs:123g/Pro:138g

Doesn't look to bad

Give it a shot, sounds pretty good. I use milk, oats, Nitrean, and olive oil - works out to about 1000 calories. Tastes good, mixes well in a shaker, and takes about 5 minutes to drink. My only suggestion is to dry blend the oats into a powder before putting them in the shake.

I don't think there is a way around this bloated feeling. I usually wake up pretty ripped (visible abs and whatnot). By the end of the day I look like a pregnant woman. Most of my diet is liquid (~3500cals from milk and weight gainers). It might help with the bloated feeling but it definatly does not get rid of it.

I just started bulking for the first time a couple weeks ago and when I started I had the same bloated feeling all the time. But now I never feel that way. In fact, I seem to always be hungry. So if you're just starting just give it some time and hopefully it will pass. It did for me.

Might be the carbs?

Vinegar/lemon juice with carb meals.

Do you find it helps Drai's? I've tried this in the past, and while it agrees with me, I don't eat the volumes you fellas do when I bulk - I'm not sure if it made a difference. I read up on it and it's supposed to work by slowing the rate of gastric emptying. You know anything else about this?

That's a little trick I use for getting hungry. If I have a meal coming up in an hour or so and I'm right full I'll drink some pepperment tea. It seems to work to some extent.

I don't really know anything about the mechanism by which it works. If "lack of bloating" proves anything about it's efficacy though, it definitely works. I can do my whole 1400g UD2 carb-up feeling just fine.

I, being 300lbs, have no problem with eating. Like anthony and others have suggest that drinking your calories may be one of the easiest ways to do it. 2 tbsp of Natty PB has around 200 calories, 10 of those a day is an easy 1k cals. Just eat as many calorie dense foods as you can afford.

eat fruit after a meal, it will aid in digestion as well as alleaviate some of that bloating feeling... or at least will help u take a dump before the next meal, that will make u feel less full lol

i dont think you need a meal with 138g of protein. unless that will be sipped on throughout the day perhaps?
