Well I'm wondering how to take in more protein, and I'm trying to decide which will be less expensive and convenient. I like mrp's cause they're in a packet that I can take to work, but all I'm really interested in is the High protein.
So what do you all think? Any high protein mrps with low carbs, or should I just carry a 2lb can of protein powder in my gymbag?:D

mrp's will be more expensive and most likely have more calories.

it will depend on your goals and diet on which one you should choose.

if you decide on the protein powder, why not just put your scoop of powder in a ziplock bag and carry that to work and then mix with water or whatever. or even just mix it before you go.

yeah thats what i do, i put my protein powder in a bag and carry it around, its a good idea.

mrps suck IMO - all they have extra are carbs, and its not even that much.

just get good protein powder and then if you want to you can mix it with anything you like. Also, try to get a protein powder that has more then one soure of protein.

Most mrp's have maltodextrine as carb source wich is not preferable.Get a good protein powder or search for a mrp that contains any other carb than malto.

I agree.

Carbs are not all the same. We need the fibre, water content and vitamins that real food provides us. Why blow your carb budget on a MRP?

If you don't like the idea of mixing powder on the go then look for skim milk or fat free soy milk and drink a litre.
