i am really thinking about competing in this league and seeing if i can take home the titles for best bencher and deadlifter in the state of hawaii in the 16-19yr old division at 275 or 308 watever one i come to at the time i compete....i was just wondering who here at WBB has competed in this league? and how did u guys do? and if u guys like the rules and regulations that the WABDL has set?

I don't know much about the federation having not lifted in it. But, they are a "drug-free" organization. They seem pretty picky about what gear they allow: http://www.wabdl.org/wabdl_-_official_gear.htm

I have not heard anything bad about the organization and in fact one of our newest sponsored athletes (Brian Oldham) has be very successful in the organization.

It's a good org. My powerlifting team does a lot of events through WABDL. Our team president is the Illinois state chair. They are very professional and well organized events from my experience.
