Where can I buy dextrose locally?

I'd like to buy dextrose locally, but haven't been able to find it. Does it sell under any brand names? I seem to remember someone saying that GNC carried it under a brand name, but I couldn't find it this afternoon. I'd rather not buy it online if I don't have to, so please don't waste your time suggesting it. I'd like to use the dextrose in the next day or two, so I need it asap. And, if I end up ordering it, I can find a place online on my own.

I did run in a liquor store today, and the guy didn't give me a funny look. He knew exactly what I was talking about. I remember galileo mentioned getting some there once, so I figured I'd give it a shot. This place just didn't carry it.

I get mine from the local supermarket, it's called 'Glucodin - pure glycose energy'

Other places that might have it could be,
- drugstore (the drugstores here have all kinds of crazy ****)
- health store
- walmart :D


edit. and yeah, glucose = dextrose. some schmucks don't know that.

I get mine a place called boots in the UK.

I buy 500g at a time and its very cheap. Its labelled as Glucose C.

lol I just noticed that it says GLUCODIN IS NOT SUITABLE FOR INJECTION in big letters on my dextrose. LMFAO :scratch: makes me wonder if some braniac of a sob tried to inject it.. bwhaha

I wanted it to make some homebrew dextrose.maltodextrin kool-aid, for a clean refeed day to kick off my PSMF, but unless they have it at the beer-supply store, I'm screwed. I'll just have to spend a couple extra days prepping the diet, and eating like a horse.

Wal-mart did not have it...only some glucose pills.

I went to a local Save On Foods today, picked up a 2.2kg bag of dextrose for $5 canadian. That really beats paying $10 for 0.5kg at popeye's
