I've just been diagnosed with bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome and was told to lay off of any exercises or movements that put stress on the wrists.. so in short, i was wondering if anyone could help me out with a routine that would minimize wrist stress. now this shouldn't affect my lower body workouts at all, but mainly was just looking for some help with upper body stuff. i was thinking about doing gm's, but that's all i can think of that doesn't use the wrists :(. any help would be appreciated.

Get a second opinion. Find yourself a physical therapist. Strengthen your wrists.

yeah i was planning on getting a second opinion as well, but the problem with strengthening my wrists is that basically any motion with them causes pain, so i guess it's a bit too late to start strengthening them. I'm gunna get another opinion though, just in case.

It's not too late. It will probably always hurt. Therapy can make them stronger over time. Not time to quit yet.
