hey hulk i changed my aol name but when i got on here it knew who i was? how so?

i was just testing if i could write under my name:D it works.

Aol has nothing to do with this forum. you wbb user name is saved a cookie, not a aol name.

but how did it know it was me? i mean its another name....can someone else come and do the same? thats whats got me worried and stuff...

the forum knows your you because there is a cookie saved on your PC. That cookie has your user name and password in it.

If someone copyed your cookie onto there computer in theory they could post as you, But thats a BIG IF.
