I just took a trip over to bodybuilding.com, looked in the teen section, read 1 THREAD and felt sick. They know nothing, aren't serious, and need hit upside the head. I'm happy I found this place first. I...could've....BEEN one of them....

I don't like the messageboard over there, but they do have some decent articles. They upload articles almost daily, so it gives me plenty of reading material to get my through the day at work.

ya, this place is much more serious.
There are some over there that will answer stuff and be cool, but for the most part they are dicksmacks.

Problem is, they also have some terrible articles (they'll pretty much publish any article, regardless of accuracy). A newbie can't tell the difference. AFAIC, that's worse than not having any information at all.

The immaturity and low level of commitment is what got me the most. There was a girl posting pics asking if she was sexy or not. WTF does that have to do with teen bbing?

Ha ha i couldn't help myself. I had to venture over to their boards since i've never been there. I'm with you man, thank god i've never been there.

This one post that i checked out was about lifting, like squats, raising test levels...

I cracked up when i read this...

"i dont get it. how can an exercise increase your levels of test. Is there hard science behind this or is it just some bull**** made up by people thinking they are sqeezing test. out of there balls when they squat or some ****."

hahahahha...that board totally sucks.

Lol the funny thing is pinky, that excercises like squats do actually increase test levels.

Squeezing test out of the balls.

I bet you were glad to finally understand how squats raise test, hey Pinky?

It's a real bugger for ME. I have to borrow the balls first...

i got into a bit of an argument to see how they would respond, the argument was this, are push ups or bench presses a better movement? my argument was that the push up uses your legs to stabalize you and since the ground cant move either you dont work the stabalizers, making push ups liken to a smith machine or pec dec. then some moron just keeps trying to say "bodyweight exercises are superior because they use your bodyweight which means they are better". now id be the first to say that actual free moving bodyweight exercises are just as good if not superior to free weights, but a push up is a very fixed path.

heres the thread :D

feel free to disagree, but ill bet fewer on here do than there, maybe much fewer.

btw, what do you guys think of my experiment so i would have some evidence that the motion of a push up was easier due to lack of stabalizers involved?

haha i went there because someone compared me to diesal wiesel there so i went to check out his journal. Interesting guy, moves some solid weight and really loves hand strength, bending nails and what not. Some of the videos of his lifts he posted he has horrible, almost deadly form when deadlifting but his recent stuff seems solid. I posted a few pics in the picture section and the responses i got back consisted of... "You should shave your chest and get tan", havnt been back there since.
