I'd like to get everyone's opinion on supplements that work, and on things that you'd like to see.
My list of tried and true would include creatine, protein powder/drinks, multivitamins, and fat-burning stacks/stimulants.
And of course these can be further divided into subcategories, such as pre- and post-lift drinks, meal replacements, creatine w/ carbs, and so on.
So, what's everyone's favorites, and what would you like to see, or at least see for less?

I would like to see less creatine serum. When I first began lifting I got 'dragged' into the ads and spent 40 bucks on a bottle of the stuff.

In no particular order, whey isolate, creatine monohydrate, glutamine, multivitamins, flax seed oil, and ECA stacks (simply because they increase my focus and stamina in the gym)

ECA is the best. Nothing else can compare to the instant as well as long term gratification it offers.
If I could take only one thing, that would be it.

Regardless, I would have to go with whey protein powder, creatine with simple sugars, glutamine PEPTIDES, flax seed oil, vitamin C, a good multi-vitamin/mineral, and a good fat-loss supplement. (i.e. - Xenadrine, etc.)

Have not used creatine in around a year or so, made better gains without it.

I'd have to say:
1. Whey protein (Though I like to consider it food)
2. ECA stack (only tried herbal form)
3. Tribulus, horny goat weed, and creatine (tied for third)

I'd say either one. You can do just fine protein wise with real food, and sure, creatine's good, but takes a little while to work.
Drop an ECA, and 30 minutes later you're cranking...a few hrs later you're appetite's still supressed, and by continuing supplementation, you'll be leaner.

Well i used to like ECAs cuz they imporve my lifts. i stopped cuz i concluded that i'm a teen; the reason i'm small(er than adults) is cuz my metabolism is fast, and making it faster won't get me anywhere... the sup i like most is hiquality protein powder.

Year round the only thing I use are Myoplex and multi-vit's, maybe some ALA. Creatine on and off, it's cheap and solid. Last year contest prep I used ECA and Androsol thats about it.

unfortunately I only take those before bedtime to get a deeper and more restfull sleep. I wouln't take these in the daytime because I would be like a walking zombie all day :o

well I know that ECA is awsome but I never got anything from creatine or any of the andro products, I tried trib but it didnt seem like it was doing anything, ZMA didnt seem to do anything either, I tried a whole bunch of lipotropics to drop the body fat but they didnt seem to do anything either, the only thing that was cut was my wallet ,anyway

Well, I theres some really excellent Wprotein powders right now. I A personally recomend Optimum Nutrition WheyN or Prolab Whey. As T for ECA, I'd recomend, M Yes, Hydroxycut Y or Xenadrine. (or both :D) F For Multi-Vitamins, U whatever the fuk youK wanna buy...lol. I Glutamine is very good as well. I'd recomend N that and would use it if I G could afford it. E Creatine is pretty good, A but I don't use that either on R!! account of cash. ;)

Germany is considering forbidding the sale of products containing more than tiny amounts of the herbal medicine kava kava after 24 cases of liver damage linked to the medicine in Germany. The US needs to regulate herbal medicines and other "dietary supplements."

With Germany considering banning the sale of the stuff after 24 reported cases of liver damage I don't need much more info than that to convince me that I can get by without Kava. If you want to put your liver at risk until you get more info about these 24 cases, go right ahead. I can get by without it.

Supplements that work? Well I have only been on Zmass PM for a few days now and I can tell you that it does pretty much what it says. Today I have not had a lot of carbs and I was expecting an OK work out but to my surprise I had enough energy to increase lying tri ext. and BB bicep curl up 5lbs. from last week, which is good for me. Too early to tell yet about the added mass its suppose to bring but I don't expect to gain anything on this diet just keep the muscle I have. Myoplex MRPs taste really good. I have had some succuess from hydroxycut. I say some b/c when I was taking it I was doing what the bottle said. Now that I got a large bottle for christmas I am going to take lots and see the results. Hope it works.
