View Full Version : 6/25/05 Just cutting

I just started cutting last week, and well since I have no one to take pictures of me the camera work is a little shaky. I was 150 lbs @ 5'8" last July and right before my cut started I was 180, currently at 176.

I was thinking of going down to 150lbs but my friend is 150 and hes skinny as hell and I thought I might end up losing alot of muscle if I go past 160, idk if I'm right in thinking this.

Anyway here we go... I'm a bit shy about posting pictures online.

Nothing wrong with your arms dude. Good, solid base. Just eat solid, healthy foods and stay away from the crappy ****, sleep and keep on doing what you're doing!

Around 160 even 165 you should be ripped up. Just keep your diet in check and clean. Oh yeah and cardio. :cool:

I'm sure it's just teh angles, but the forearms look like they could do with some work.

Yea they look small as hell right? Its just the shaky nature of the picture, they look grotesquely small. My total caloric intake on a daily basis is about 1300 cal down from like 2700.

Hmm, don't know that I would have said grotequesly small, but just not as developed as your upper arms...

just wondering, how quickly did you gain weight at 2700 cals/day. and how often were u working out?

1300 is too few calories, you'll lose the muslce you've gained. Read up the old threads in the Diet and nutrition forum for how to cut. There are tons. at 1300 cals down from 2700, your metabolism will crash and fat loss with cease sooner than you'd like.

I was lifting 'leisurely' for a while, until my dad got on my ass about it last august, since then I go to the gym every other day and I get a lot of rest in between sessions.

2700-2900 cals a day, I replace all the **** I was eating with chicken and turkey, and about 70% of my diet was protein, the rest was carbs and some fats. I guess I was an easy gainer, My dad was very big and his dad was big, and soon after I started lifting I gained weight quickly. It capped off at 180 though.

Now My diet is about 85-90% protein and I do much more cardio atleast 3-4 HIIT times a week compared to about 2wice a week of easy morning runs.

So what do you suggest? I store fat real easy. Im afraid if I eat any more I might get a heartattack or some ****. I mean heres what I usually eat:

Breakfast----> 6 egg whites, 1 whole wheat slice of bread and milk

lunch ------> Protein Shake if I have time or milk, fruit (apple)

dinner----> either steak or chicken breast stuffed w/ spinach, lemon gravy sauce thing and spanish rice.

8 pm ----> protein shake (usually)

on a daily basis if I take all my protein shakes its anywhere from 1300-1900.

70% diet of protein on a bulk seems like alot.

How many cals are you cutting at?

Lol, i wish I could take more pictures, but Im so pissed at this camera and it myself. You should see the others, there so blurry I can't see whats what.

Right now I take circa 1300 cals. Im probably going to take your advice and up the dosage. I get a lot of protein at my house anyway.

cannot tell much from the pictures except you look to have some arm size. Good luck on cutting, hard to tell your bodyfat but you look around 15 give or take a few
