how much sugar is too much sugar? ive heard it could have detrimental effects on muscle could anyone give me more details?

Everyone will post their own opinion but I personally only use high GI carbs (glucose) right after my workout. From what I have read if you eat lots of sugar it can decrease insulin resistance which impedes muscle growth and can eventually (like over a period of years) lead to diabetes.

I agree with specialK there is no one number, I would say it really depends on your body type, what type of diet yo uare sticking too, your metabolism, your level of activity etc.

it won't have detrimental effects on muscle

there are alot of myths out there

eating clean is better for your body...

the better your body performs the better you recover from the rigours of training
