i decided not to compete because i dont think i can get lean enough in 12 weeks so imma clean bulk until december then cut for a comp in april 2006

Start preparing for it now, and definitely go to the comp. you're not competing in, it's a good learning experience.

BTW, if you can put about 15 lbs of muscle on that frame and cut 5% or more bf then you will be some major comp. for your age group.

You're only 14? You've got some really nice size going on.

I agree - keep bulking, but keep it down to a dull roar, then cut for next spring.

If you're this big NOW, I can only IMAGINE what you'll be able to put on by next spring!

yeah, i remember reading before when u first started and you've made huge gains since then! But, you can really tell the difference just between the 6-1 month ago periods. the size difference there is enormous! good job man, and start getting ready for that comp in april!

I wouldn't worry about competing when you're 14. You've got a lot of growing time (height too) now and you wouldn't want to starve yourself just to compete. Eat, lift, grow, and enjoy for a few more years. Then come out really strong when you're 18.

Man, I wish I started lifting at 13 :( I'm pretty sure the best time is around when puberty starts.

I agree with Galileo. You really don't want to do much cutting when you're that young. Make sure you give yourself plenty of nutrients so you can grow up big and strong!
