I bought some Xenadrine RFA-1.
One thing I noticed different about the label compared to the netrition.com label is that this one says Sida Cordifolia -- 167.5mg, and netrition.com's says MA HUANG(STANDARDIZED FOR 10 MG EPHEDRINE -- 167.5mg

So is Sida Cordifolia the same as Ma Huang (ephedrine)? I'm skeptical cause I bought this in canada and they always have weaker ECAs.

I recently purchased a tub of Ultimate Orange from my local store, when I looked at the ingredients I noticed it contained Sida Cordifolia instead of ephedrine, as in the American version. At first I was a little dubious, as I have tried the American version and it was excellent, but this 'Sida Cordifolia' gave me one of the best workouts I have had for a long time, the energy boost was incredible. Why would they use Sida Cordifolia instead of ephedrine?

First of all, unfortunately ephedrine is not legally available over the counter in the UK, so Next Nutrition had to look for a suitable alternative for their European market. They had to find a product that would live up to the reputation of ULTIMATE ORANGE. They came up with Sida Cordifolia, an herb that has been used for over 2000 years for many ailments, such as nasal congestion and oedema.

Sida Cordifolia contains ephedrine alkaloids common to ephedra, but causes less cardiovascular and central nervous problems. Individuals using Sida have reported better breathing and significant increases in energy. PROLAB, use the same herb in their popular energy product 'Therma Pro'. I have been fortunate enough to try both versions and I have got to say, I prefer the UK version, it still gives me the kick I need before training, but it doesn't leave me with the jitters.
