Slowly getting there. Been fat my whole life. Still see a fat person in the mirror.

You're not fat anymore!

It can take a while until what you see catches up to what you are.

Nice work!

I agree with GMC. WBB Member "LittleJake" is a walking tub of lard. ;)

You're not fat bro, but you do really need to work on that back.

Way to go!
288.. I was almost there (280) I know how much better you must feel everyday. Just remember being high 200's and how hard it was to do anything, (trim toe nails, walk, lift things, move around, get up and down, in and out of bed) it's not that way for us anymore!
Great job!!

Thanks guys.

I got a bit to go. School starts August 22nd, so I got 6 weeks to trim down some more for the ladies.

Ordered some ETS, so hopefully that helps. The new leg routine is killing my legs and making cardio hard to do when I can't walk for 3-4 days after squating. Now I just need to start deadlifting, as I've never done that. Too affraid. I need someone to show me how to do it so I don't kill myself.

As for working on my back, I'm getting there. Just did back this morning. Did some new back stuff. Forever I've just been doing seated rows and lat pull downs. Did barbell rows and assisted chin ups today. I definately feel it. I can't wait till I can do chip ups without the assistance from the pansy machine.

Barbel rows are great for back developments, you really need to start doing them deads :D

Someone come show me how to do a dead. Anyone in Phoenix area that I can meet up with sometime?

For the first time today someone came up and helped me lift. Some old man noticed while curling I was lifting my ass up and straining. He showed me a new grip and how to properly adjust the seat and brace myself. He spotted me and now my biceps/forearms are freaking feeling GOOD.

I need a workout partner is what I'm quickly learning. The three times I've actually gone with someone have been the best workouts ever.

damn man, soo bad you dont like in NYC ide be glad to help you out.

I think you have done a great job...not many people in this world can say that they lost 83 pounds

07-04-2005, 02:00 PM

you don't hafta be so mean about it. I have a complex. :(

I am a fatty.

*runs off to the gym for my 24 hour stairmaster session*

to the original poster: you're not fat, but if you wanted to keep leaning up, depending on how lean you wanted to be, you could lose about 10-15 more lbs.

07-04-2005, 03:09 PM
yeah, dont loose too much more, because you're certainly now within average. amazing progress, and keep up the good work.

07-04-2005, 04:54 PM
Shooting for 195lbs in the next 7 weeks or so. Should be doable.

Jake lives in Phoenix, I'll go ahead and sign him up to help you. Give him a PM with the time and date. He's a nice guy, he won't mind. :p

07-04-2005, 09:26 PM
lol you're so kind Mitch.

07-05-2005, 05:12 AM
that's so kind of you, were all a happy bunch of weight lifters!

Deads are vital, if you don't do those there's really no point to lifting weights.

07-06-2005, 04:07 PM
This week has been hell for some reason. Maybe 7 weeks of hard cutting is just getting to me. Going to up the cals a bit because my energy went to ****, sleep went to ****, light headed.

Thanks for the support. I want to get the BF% down a bit more then start a clean bulk once I get to where I want to be.

07-09-2005, 01:39 AM
damn, nice job on losing the weight
you did it a lot better than me, when i was in 9th grade i went from 150lbs to 95lbs = no muscle at all, even though i had a small frame to start, it's sad when i weighed less than most girls :\
don't worry, you're not fat, try and bulk up now (you said you were trying to lose some more weight for the ladies, i think you should gain some, that'd make em more interested :D)

07-15-2005, 01:56 PM
i was 300# once too, i am 220# now 6', 29yo
i agree you dont look fat, not even ex-obese like i do

07-15-2005, 03:03 PM
are you sucking in there? You're not fat, feel free to breathe, your stomach looks emancipated in that pic!

Good work though man.
