View Full Version : 5 months since i started lifting...

basically just upperbody shot of when i started (jan. 27th) and a current pic (july 7th). when i started i was 5 foot 6 and 144lbs - right now i'm 5 foot 7 and 157lbs when i wake up (since summer started i've dropped down 7lbs in the morning, i don't know if that's good or bad, since i'm still getting bigger and stronger and lost a decent amount of fat, not 7lbs worth i don't think though). everything has gone up a ton since i started lifting, bench when from 105x8 to 175x6 (just started doing it, trying to get to 8 by next month, shouldn't be hard). i think i'm doing pretty good for 5 months...right now i'm neither cutting nor bulking, i'm just kinda eating an inbetween amount of calories. i can't wait for fall, so i can bulk again :D
oh yea, ignore my stupid expression in both pics
edit:: whoops, i just realized i wrote june 7th and i meant july 7th, that's what happens when you don't have school and go to sleep at 5am and wake up at 3-4pm lol - also realized i didn't give start stats

pretty good, i don't work them THAT much but they're in proportion...they've always been pretty big because i used to run/skateboard, and i still work them out, just not as much as everything else
everyone comments about my pecs (that's a thanks) :D
my brother who reps 215 on bench's chest isn't as big as mine, it makes him so mad (my goal is to be bigger than him just to piss him off lol)
he took this pic the other day, just an upclose of my chest...i'll take a pic of my legs tomorrow

shoulders i was actually neglecting for a while, but i picked back up on them recently
chest i was doing flat bench, incline bench, db presses, and incline db presses but it takes too long to do the dumbells so i cut them out. now i just do flatbench, incline, and flies for chest, and i do db shoulder presses and normal shoulder presses now (same day).
as for suppelements, all i was taking was protein shakes until may, then i started blitz cycle but the effects are only good for so long, about 3 weeks, then you get used to it and don't get pumps anymore. so i stopped that with about 5 days left of pills. then i bought some cee and it didn't do anything, i was losing weight taking it, and i have about half a bottle left that i'm never going to finish (don't see the reason to). now i'm not taking anything and gaining better, go figure

Terrific results. As others have pointed out, your chest has really improved. However, the arms are looking bigger with more shape and the waist has narrowed a lot. 17lbs has made a big difference with the fat loss that you've managed as well.
