Pop Will Eat Itself (anyone hear of them?)

Pop Will Eat Itself (PWEI) is probably my favorite bands. Sounds strange from a guy who loves The Who, Rush, Led Zeppelin and Springsteen. But it's just great music. I bought it at a music store on a whim in '90 (or '91) at Virginia Tech. I've since got all the CD releases (wish I had a turn table and some money!)

So has anyone heard of this band? And did you like 'em? They had a minor hit with Def Con One on some of the alt stations.

The did the music for the super-violent playstation game "Loaded" I think.
I don't remember what they sounded like though.

I just listened to the top three most listened-to tracks on Rhapsodymusic...

To be honest, they sound just like video game track music. Nothing special for me.

They used to be pretty big in the UK. Every other guy and his mom had a PWEI t-shirt for while.

Yeah I know PWEI. "Ich Bin Ein Auslander" was big in the goth/industrial clubs for a while. I'm an industrial fan, but PWEI isn't really one of my faves. I'm more into VNV Nation, Wumpscut, Velvet Acid Christ, KMFDM, etc.
