then i would say no. If the words partially hydrogenated are in the ing. list then stay away from it. reg butter would be better for you, just use less of it.

smart balance butter is pretty good it has omega 3 and 6 EFA's in it.

Always look at the ingredients. They can say 0 trans fats if there's less than a gram in a "serving", so they rig the serving size to ensure this happens.

Just eat regular butter in small quanties. I eat about a tablespoon of regular butter every day, and my cholesterol used to be high. In small amounts, the real stuff is fine. Small amounts of saturated animal fat may actually be beneficial to your endocrine system (endogenous test levels).

acutally that stuff isn't any better. if you want a lower cal. butter get the land o lakes whipped. its reg. butter with out all the crap of margarine and it's reduced to 70 cals. per TBLS.

Normal butter is ok in small amounts. Dont eat the fake crap its actually worse than real butter.
