Hey, I'm interested in UD-2.0 myself. It'll be great to see how you do on it.

You've got some good meat on your bones. You should cut down nicely with this. Best of luck!

Monday-Low Carb day

Breakfast: 1 whole egg, 5 egg whites, 1 cup FF milk, 2 slices WW bread,1 tbsp butter.
-Went to class this morning, no hunger feelings, felt great.

Preworkout- 1/2 cup Juice w/ 10mg creatine.

Lunch- 2 cans of tuna, 1 tbsp light mayo, 1 FF hot-dog, 1 cup FF milk, and 1 slice WW bread.
Note: A funny thing happened while i was finishing up my last bit of tuna, for some reason I gagged and my little sisters started laughing at me, made me feel bad  lol

Dinner- 1 chicken breast, 1 cup cottage cheese, 5 crackers.

Late night snack was a FF hot dog.

Weight was 202lbs with workout clothing on and shoes.

THIS WORKOUT KICKED MY ASS! I was going throuh nausea almost the whole time.

Leg Press 3x12
Leg Extension 3x10-12
Flat Bench Press 3x10
Machine Bicep Curls 3x10-8-6
DB Shoulder Press 3x12-10-8
Standing Calve Raise 3x12
Crunches 3x12
Leg Raise 3x12

Then I repeated this over again.

Note: This is basically what Lyle says in his book, I've modified it a bit. Pleaset let me know your input, rememeber this is supposed to be high rep, light weight and short resting workout.

I'll update the rest of my diet tonight.

your ud2.0 looks pretty modified, but what you're doing should work really well too. especially since you're at 15% fat.
good luck

its not VERY modified, you are allowed 50g of carbs a day. His goal is 15% BF.

really I never saw that in the book

FIghter...

with all the much easier approaches to losing bodyfat especially at 20+% you sure didnt pick the cream of the crop.

plus isnt ud2 geared towards people that are already at or near 15%. Wouldnt psmf be a better choice here?

"As a general rule, you should eat no
more than 20% of your total caloric intake as carbohydrates. This will put most people in the 65-
70 gram range or so. You can reduce this further to 50 grams if you wish.
Why not zero as in Bodyopus? Because, outside of letting us cut calories further, there
doesn't seem to be any major benefit to going lower. Even a minimal 50 grams of carbs per day
will help to limit the need to produce glucose from muscle protein. Remember, Bodyopus was
concerned with rapidly establishing ketosis which requires as few carbs as possible to get it done
quickly. Since I don't care about ketosis, I don't see any real need to reduce carbs below 50 grams
per day."

Ok, let me just briefly explain about this 22% bf. The guy that did it at my gym, it was his first time. SO i realy dont think that it is that high. The reason I chose this diet is because I do not want to lose any muscle during my "fat loss". This seems like the best approach. Another thing, I have no idea what PSMF is or whatever it scalled. Suggestions are welcome.

He says there is no point to go under 50g, he also says the source doesnt matter. Im just saying you can have carbs to a certain extent.

this isnt a magical diet you can drop a significant amount of fat from where you are at without sacrificing much if any muscle.

I think lyle says you can have some carbs because he doesn't think ketosis is important. furthermore, the 50 grams of carbs (or roughly 20% of total cals) allows you to eat less protein (1 gram per lb instead of 1.5 grams/lb). But personally I think the 50 grams or so should be 'tag along' carbs. Like carbs in low fat dairy, or FF mayo, etc... Not bread and juice. But that's just my opinion.

I also agree wtih ryuage in the fact that there are MUCH easier ways to drop fat (and quicker too) when you sit at 22% body fat.

In either case, good luck.

Ok, just to let you guys know and I had this conversation with HolyWars. We both agree that theres no way im 22%. I knew nothing about bf , so when i got this estimate.....i just went along with it. I'm getting myself some calipers and will let you guys know what i come up with. Thanx

Sounds like you think you had a bad day. I think you had a great day, from the looks of it. I feel like puking every time I do football training combined with lifting. You just gotta think "haha, I'm working harder than ALL these ****ers" and then after it think "i gave 100%, left nothing there". Then focus on the feeling after it all. Satisfaction.
