Sorry if this has been asked before. I tried a search and found nothing similar to my question:

It seems the consensus recommendation is to mix the oil into the PB upon the intial opening (rather than draining). Why is this?
*This oil is good for you?
*This oil keeps the PB moist?
*Both or neither?

Better idea. Turn jar upside down, put in fridge, wait 2 days. It will mix itself.

Yes it will. Make sure to keep it in the fridge.

I've never tried that before. And I usually make a mess everywhere while stirring my PB so I'll have to try that.
