I just cooked up two fish fillets... and, uh, I kind of ate a can of tuna while cooking the fish.

Protein has been a problem for me for most of my adult life... but I think I just put away about 60 grams worth in a meal.

Don't know how I'm supposed to get to 1x or 1.5 x body weight. I do have some cottage cheese now, though, and it's calling my name...

That doesn't look like much food at all, though I don't know what your portion sizes are...how many total calories are you eating?

you'd probably save more money if you bought some whey!

bars are quite pricey

if you're really eating 60 grams of protien in 1 sitting then I would imagine getting 1XBodyweight wouldn't be a problem at all. 3 meals and you're almost there (you said you were 190, thats 180Gs). The only way to know for sure is to count though. Check out www.fitday.com if you already haven't and start keeping track.

I didn't actively plan on eating a can of tuna and two pieces of battered fish a day... so I'm looking still researching alternates in the various food threads. Tuna is great concentrated protein, though. Definitely be eating a can either pre or post workout (which is better?).

For starters, bbers don't eat "pp". Especially not on WBB. You can find that on other, less appropriate sites. Please, please use some of what your 5th grade teacher provided.

You're not eating enough, and not getting enough protein.

Like everyone else has already told you, your not eating enough. And your not eating as many times as you should. It would help your hunger problems if you ate 5-6 small meals a day instead of 2 or 3 bigger ones. Since I've started eating like that I rarely ever feel myself overly hungry.
