Is it alright to drink once in a while... like 1 or 2 times a month .. i mean i dont get hammered but all of my friends drink so what do u think about drinking some dubra once in a while... only a glass or twoo.. i mean its nice drinking once in a while.. specially when your a teenager. I used to drink everyday now only 1 or 2 time a month. Is that going to affect me to bad. I heard that clear liquers like dubra and vodka arent that bad for u, its mostly the wine coolers and beer that are filled wit carlories and sugars and such. I am not sure if i am correct, if im wrong please correct me and tell me what you think?? Thanx

Am I the only one who actually feels a really lean the day after drinking (oh yeah, I broke the edge :(). Maybe it has something to do with being dehydrated.

The worst thing about drinking is working out the next day. Can't stop making trips to go get water, and you usually have a hangover :(

I'm the same. I can actually lose 5lbs after a night of heavy drinking (all water weight ofcourse).

What's dubra? I thought it was a brand of vodka? Be careful of what you're mixing it with. Calories from mixers like coke and tonic can add up pretty quickly.

I was under the impression that alcohol slows protein synthesis?

Yes, alcohol can have negative effects on your body. But jesus christ people, drink once in a while if that's what you want to do. Unless you're going pro you're not nearly in the kind of shape where you'll see be hindered by the effects of drinking a couple times a month.

drink pedialyte the morning after if you are worried about any negative effects, its gatoradeX10.

Does anyone else think that 21 is way too high for the legal drinking age? Thank god I live in Canada where it is 19, and right next to Quebec where they will sell beer to a 12year old.

18 should be the age of drinking. If you can fight a war, you sure as **** should be able to drink..

Those hangover tabs from GNC work well too.. I think the active ingrediant is L-Cysteine. If you take like 3-4 of those plus some pedialyte, you'll be golden.

On an unrelated note, if you're serious about lifting, maybe you should plan your drinking around days that you won't be in the gym. That is kind of how I do it.

A ton of extra calories from drinking plus a nice insulin spike to follow. Sounds like it'll get rid of negative effects nicely
