Hello people,
My breakfast used to consist just of oats and some egg whites. It seemed that the soluble fiber did not work for me and I was constipated for the whole day,(i drink lots of water).
Whenever I broke my diet I ate All bran Cereal (28 grams insoluble fiber) in the morning and 4-5 hours later i was running to the toilet. All bran cereal consists of Wheat bran. ALthough it has 18 grams of sugar per 100 gram , and I am currently cutting. I also believe that i need that sodium in the cereal since my sodium all day is very low and i my water intake is huge.
I went ahead and bought from a friend in grocery original wheat bran (the one they make their breads). Do you have any nutritional information for it?
Can I make an oatmeal/wheat bran cooked with some egg whites? Is the glycemic index ideal and good for cutting? Because I know nothing about wheat bran , i just know i need that insoluble fiber which i cannot take from oat bran /oats. Is it wiser to cook it in such a way instead of eating the cereal? (once again im cutting)
