Can anyone recommend a Pre-Workout meal for a heavy chest routine?

I need something with a lot of carbs for energy, as well as Protein. Hwever, I tend to eat too much before I hit the weights.

Please help!

lately ive been eating a cup of oats, half cup of blueberries and a scoop of whey... plenty of carbs, and should give you some good fuel. Of course a cup or two of green tea right before doesnt hurt either :D

actually that's just about exactly what i eat 2.5 hours before my workout.

I eat 1cup of oats with 2cups of skim milk, 4HB egg whites, and 1cup of milk with a scoop of whey about 45min to an hour before I workout.
