Are 100% whole wheat pitas healthy? Cause I would like to eat one filled with tuna for lunch sometimes.

What about while being on a cutting diet? Are Pitas ok? Because everyone says to cut all bread out. But I'm sorry I have to eat my tuna or turkey on a pita or whole wheat bread. I mean I only eat etiher 1 pita or 2 slices of bread a day. So I can't see how that can really mess my diet up that bad.

I don't remove bread from my diet on a cut.

Oh really. According to most people on here, when they seen my diet, said I need to cut out the bread and have brown rice in place of the bread????

I'm not saying you should or shouldn't. Not everyone goes on the same diet.

Whole grains are healthy for you and any complex carb is better than a simple one.

It is really a matter of choice. As long as you don't have an excess amount it should be fine.

any complex carb is better than a simple one.Not really. It's the type of simple carbs you're eating. There are plenty of simple carbs in things like fruit, which are hardly bad for you. Mix that up with some protein and the simple carbs are digested slower. Complex carbs still raise your blood sugar levels, but they do it slowly over time.

^ yeah but fruit has other vitamins and minerals with them. YOu eat white bread and your basically getting simple carbs and nothing else.

Side note. 100% whole wheat bread is healthy but if your trying to cut you may want to stick to more vegetables where you get the good fiber. the rough stuff.
