If I Pour in a container and just microwave them, is that as good as eating hard boiled whites only?

Please explain why you think the way you do.

Thanks!

Sure. They're pasteurized, so you can pretty much drink them out of the carton if you wanted.

They're not like egg whites, because of the added fats.

Edited: I just read the ingredients, and they don't appear to add fat - they add vitamins and colour.

Added fats?

Yep. They add fats to replace the fat in the egg yolks.

Edit: Sorry - spoke too soon. They don't add fat, but they add vitamins and colour.

So since they don't add fats, they are okay?

Some people may meet their fat requirement for that meal and want the extra protein. Not saying that's what he does, but I use egg whites for that purpose.

I do the same thing. Yolks are good for you, but sometimes I want more protein than fat.

Eggbeaters here cost to much. $4.00 for a little carton I rather buy my dozen large eggs for 19cents.

I hard boil a dozen eggs every week and take 2 egg white and one whole egg to work daily, it makes a great snack and is a hell of a lot less money than egg beaters.

I had been hard boiling 3 eggs a day and taking those to work. Boiling 3 every day sucked. I wasn't sure if they would stay fresh if I boiled 12 and just took 3 a day. But now that I think about it, they should be fine if refriged.
A Carton of eggs is a lot cheaper than egg beaters, I was just wondering if they were good or not because i think thats what my work cafe' usues to make scrambled eggs, and sometimes if I am hungry, I will go down and get some of those.

They're made from real eggs, so I can't really see why they wouldn't be fine.
