I'll soon be starting a lifting period in which my main focus will be on increasing strength. I won't be competing or anything, and I'd like to increase my overall strength. I'm just curious as to how strength routines differ from ones, say, mainly for mass. I know for mass, there is an emphasis on compound exercises, and I believe that's the same for strength, but is the difference in just the number of reps/set, the rest period, etc.? Thanks for the help.
