I'm getting more and more creative with my morning shakes, and I think I've found an awesome blend that tastes good and is good for you at the same time. If anyone tries this, please let me know what you think.
1 cup skim or 2% milk (Depending on your fat requirements)
1 scoop Whey Protein
1 Banana
1 cup whole blueberries
409 calories, give or take depending on the size of the banana.
3g fat 68g carbs 32g protein
Blend on high for a solid minute, otherwise you'll have blueberry chunks. Considering the antioxidant properties of blueberries, I figured I would try to mix them in with my whey shake, and what a surprise, it's delicious.
Now, if only I could mix in some broccoli...it would be perfect. :windup:
