Hello

My training routine
Monday- Weights
Tues- Weights
Wednes- Cardio
Thursd-Weights
Friday-Weights
Satur-Cardio
Sunday rest...

Now....On cardio day. .....which i am gonna do 30 mins bicycle and 30 mins slow running..... Strange as it sounds I can eat salmon in the morning...Since I want to go low carb on my pre cardio exercise is it ok to have salmon ? Will the fat in the salmon be any negative? Or Do i go along with just egg whites?

Also , Can i Have a carbohydrate-protein meal (oats and eggs) 1 hour after the cardio or just protein? thanks
My goal is not extreme fat loss . I am trying to build and maintain. I eat well on my weight lifting day but I wanted to add two good cardio sessions each week to stay in shape.

Salmon fat is good for you, can't see why it would be a problem.

How about doing one of your cardio sessions as HIIT, the other as steady-state?

I carb-cycle, so I don't bother with starchy carbs on cardio only/non-lifting days, but that's just me.

Lol built, Fat==good seems to be your mantra. You should put it in your sig or something. Idk why I find this hilarious , I'm literally laughing my ass off right now. Nearly 90% of your posts have that factoid sneaked in somehow. Not saying it's bad or anything. I just find it amusing.

Alot of work for such little rest. I guess you can count cardio as kind of a rest day.

I treat recreational cardio as active recovery.

So really ,

for example .......

Meal 1 8am Salmon Steak (or the fatless chicken breast?)

9.30am 60 min low inten cardio

10.30 (finish)

Meal 2 Chicken breast(or fatty salmon?) immediately (or wait for an hour?)

Meal 3 then at 11.30 (1 hour after meal 2) eat my oatmeal with egg white for glycogen replinish.

Just give me the corrrect order for the meals ppl :) just cardio day

Why so much cardio? I do a 20 minute walk in the AM, empty, then eat 6 egg whites with one yolk and a pat of butter.

Carbs are totally yummy <sucks back the last of her steak and couscous...>
