Claims you shouldn't use a belt. I don't. Should I start using one?

I couldn't finish the whole thing. It was alright. I think the fact that he didn't reference any sources took away from his credibility so I don't know how much of that I believe, if any.

I think you should develop the patience to read more than a fifty word post at forums... Jim Wendler's stuff is usually pretty insightful and worth the time.

This couldn't have been posted at a better time. I have my second squat day ever tomorrow. I just wish I hadn't waited this long to drop the cash on a good power rack.

You're joking, right? From EFS:

"Jim Wendler is the Senior Editor of Elite Fitness Systems. He is a former assistant Strength and Conditioning coach at the University of Kentucky where he worked with several different teams including football and baseball. He played football and graduated from the University of Arizona where he earned three letters. ... his best lifts in competition are a 940 squat, 650 bench press, 650 deadlift and a 2225 total."

Alright...sorry buddy. Maybe next time you could inform those who don't know who he is ahead of time.

Philster,
You could start by reading the whole thing before trouncing the guy for not supplying references... I don't see a lot of people citing research around here, in musclemags, or in many bodybuilding books for that matter...

Yea rofl, end the how to squat raw article by telling people to go out and buy a squat suit. Deff a good read.... and the whole deal about bands made me think a little while.

I haven't read it yet. But I make it a point to read anything Wendler takes the time to write. Anyone who's interested in getting stronger should do the same.
