So I'm sitting here at work, hungry cause I didnt plan my meals very well today, so I went down to the local deli, and found these Met-Rx Protein-Plus bars which I bought and ate for a afternoon meal. I've had them a couple times before, and was wondering if any of you could take a look at this link to the nutritional info and tell me what you think about these bars? Are they worth the $2.50 (expensive little deli) or are they full of no-good ingredients?

The one I had today was pretty tastey, so I was thinking of ordering a bulk pack of these and having 1 a day for one of my meals. Easier to eat than fixing a shake, but more expensive I think.

Looks pretty good to me. Low sugar is a plus.

Don't buy them for 2.50 a bar. You could order them online or at GNC and probably pay about 1.00 - 1.50 per bar instead (buying in bulk).

My local store has them listed at 2.50 as well. You do save a little buying them in bulk. Cheapest place I would think would be the net.

You can buy in bulk at GNC just in case you didn't know. They have sales on Met-RX protein bars a lot. I've gotten boxes for 20-25 bucks.

The best bang for the buck that i've had in protein bars are the nitro-tech bar and pure protein bars...the nitro-tech tastes better than any other i've tried...

I like the nitro-tech chocolate crisp ones.
