I heard from couple different people that the ban on ephedra is getting overturn. Is this true and if so when is it available. Thanks!!

Ephedrine HCL is better, and has never been illegal.

Been overturned for awhile now, but ephedrine, which is the active alkaloid in ephedra that is responsible for its thermogenic effects has been legal the whole time. I dunno if you can actually say better, but it's what you want out of ephedra anyway.
The only difference is that most ephedrine products are coupled with guaifenesin in asthma products (since ephedrine is actually marketed as a bronchodilator and not a dietary supplement). Some have an aversion to it, some don't. It's not a big deal in my opinion.

Ephedrine is used in meth as well, so if you buy it locally you may have to go through the whole "I.D. showing" process.

I just picked up ehedrine HCL at my local health food store 2 blocks from my house. its 50 8 mg tablets for 8 bucks. I also got my caffiene 100 tablets 200 mg each for 7.50.
It wasn't hard to get the ephedrine I just asked for it and she said she had some locked up and gave it with no questions asked.
I was so surprised when she gave it to me because I've heard some stories on how difficult it is to get it.
I'm not taking more than one 8 mg tablet a day and only 1 caffiene tablet as well. I'm not taking any chances.

8mg is small. Most are 25mg, and people take 2-3 a day. I took 3 25mg a day for 8 weeks without any issues. I'm using thermocin now, and they both seem to work. The ephedra defineately had more of a bite.

I take 16 mg of ephedrine with 200mg of caffeine 5x a day.
No problems.

Normal effective recommended dosage is a 1:10 ratio of E:C, with the norm being 20mg ephedrine to 200mg caffeine. 8mg is a low dosage per tab, but you can easily take more than one, no law against it, hehe.

If you asked for, like, twenty bottles you may have had a problem. There's been problems all over the country with people stocking up on ephedrine and pseudo ephedrine for use in making crystal meth. Who would need more than one bottle (okay, maybe two) of this stuff? Only crystal meth makers.

Yeah guys but with a thyroid disorder like mine I already take synthyroid every morning. I need to make sure I don't overdo it, I already read how much you guys take and I find 75 mg quite a large amount. If I adapt I'll slowly increase the dosage, but for now one EC before every workout is a good start.
Also, does anyone know what some long term effects of using ephedrine may cause, I have not been able to find any articles on this yet.
BTW... After taking the EC for my workout I was able to work at almost twice the normal intensity for 75 mins straight on the cross trainer at the gym. Burning almost twice as many calories. I haven't had that much energy in ages.

Built - On cardio only days I do long amounts of cardio. I find that it helps in getting me leaner. For me I've gotten the best results through longer periods of cardio traning, before when I'd do HIIT or short cardio workouts I'd get no results. I'm also 100% aimed at getting lean.
When I do weights and cardio I might do only 30 - 45 mins of cardio.

It burns more calories, but it burns off muscle tissue as well.
45 minutes of cardio after lifting is similarly catabolic.

Well I do about 10 hours of cardio every week. I do it to pass time, have good cardiovascular health and just for something to do. It doesn't help that I have a ****ty vehicle so I ride my bike everywhere.

If you're eating extra to compensate for your riding, you'll be fine. I sometimes ride a lot too, recreationally, but I always make sure to overeat to compensate for my bike rides.
I don't think that's what fitnessfreak is all about. She's doing it to lean out, and using cardio to lean out (rather than diet and heavy lifting) is pretty brute-force: you're likely to do a lot of damage to your LBM in an effort to burn off excess bodyfat.
20 minutes of moderate cardio after lifting is one thing. But 45 minutes? Hardly sounds prudent. And completely unnecessary - you'd do better with NO cardio and lower calories. Far less catabolic to your LBM. I do a little cardio (15-20 minutes of fast incline walking) after lifting when I'm cutting so I get to eat a tiny bit more that day. That's it.

I do it becasue I love riding. If it were to interfere with my strength then so be it but it keeps me motivated.

As long as you're eating to compensate for the larger calorie deficit. Cardio is not the end all, be all of fat loss, your diet will determine that. And since you're goal is to lean out, I would imagine retaining LBM would be a priority.

Me too. Like I said, I make sure to eat extra to compensate for the extra activity. I'm not riding to "lean out" - that approach would be sure to fail. I know, because I tried that for years, with horrible results.

So today I tried this concoction (as opposed to my typical pre workout thermogenic, Diesel Fuel) and good god, ...I can't imagine 5 times/day. Actually, I can imagine. I can imagine being high as a kite all day.
Last time I tired ephedrine was back in 2003, but damn...this felt good.

Has anybody else NEVER felt a thing from Ephedrine? I take 75mg at once with 600mg of caffeine and I could go to sleep right after. I have never felt a thing
