DO NOT EAT ANY SUGARS OR SIMPLE CARBS WITHIN AN HOUR OF WORKING OUT!!!
If you do, your pancreas will release insulin to break it down, the insulin tells the ATP to stop converting to ADP releasing
energy, and if you work out, you won't get as effective training and results. When ATP converts to ADP, a phosphate molecule
is released providing energy to flex your muscle - this happens millions of times at once when flexing. Then the phosphate
molecules reattach to ADP to form ATP again. Insulin counteracts that.

Do you agree with this, i though i had to get some sugar input just before going to train.

Thanks.

Who the hell wrote that?

Wow. Seriously, where did you find that? And no, I don't agree with it. If anything, insulin stimulates ATP synthesis.

Who the hell wrote that?

Well i thought the same when i read that for the first time, because I never ever heard that before. I only have the book's title.

"Newbies
Research Guide
A Compilation of Anabolics and
Nutritional Supplements"

The book doesn't have any other details, so i think that the book was written by some freak out there who doesn't know a s***** about this, but still wants to be a fitness adiviser. But the most interesting thing is that the author also covers AS, and you would see what he writes. Its about 100 pages, but honestly i don't think this guy ever had at a gym.

As he continues

"DO EAT SUGARS AND SIMPLE CARBS IMMEDIATELY AFTER WORKING OUT!!!
This will release the insulin, stop the ATP ADP cycle, and allow your body to get
energy from the sugars rather than from burning protein (which is needed to
rebuild muscle). Also, you want to replace your glycogen stores for your
next day's workout. Add L-Glutamine to your Gatorade or Cranberry Juice to
help aid in muscle recovery."

I'm already looking at some of that info and it's bull****. Find another book.

At the time being i don.t really need any books, i've been trainig for almost 5 years now, i stopped a few times, but only because some times i realy didn't have any other way. I am portuguese and i am studying in London, so time and money are to important matters. Ive spent so much money in books like anabolics 2001, 2001... But i came across that this forum like this are a much better source of information. I just post these things to show that there are to much bull**** out there which can mislead people. These authors don't know a deep sh**** about fitness aas and all that is related to bodybuilding, they just want do do some money.

This is the best source....Thanks Wannabenig

Learning more from the right books is always good, regardless of how long you've been training.
