I've been lifting for about a year now and i've seen some fairly decent gains with my current routine. But I'm not completly happy with it and i shouldnt be. I havnt paid full attention to my diet, mostly just what i eat over the course of the day and not so much pre-workout and post-workout.

My stomach alot of the times has trouble digesting milk mixed in with other supplyments. And hard food before or after doesnt go well with me. So after about a month looking i came across ABB products. Most are water based and go down fairly easy. The only problem is they tend to give me the runs over the course of the day.

So with this said does anyone know anything that would work for a good pre and/or post workout supplyment or just food in general

I forgot to mention my intent is to gain size and strength. And my workout is extremely intense so a source of energy that isnt a thermogenic would be nice.

Just eat a good meal 1.5-2 hrs before lifting.

Eat a balanced meal with protein, carbs, & fat.

Refined protein powders are not the greatest thing for you. If you have a sensitive digestive system and they make you sick, don't bother with them. You are better off without them anyway. Just eat good meals.

ABB's MASS Recovery gives me the runs too, almost exactly 90 mins after I finish it. I prefer a solid meal before workout, 90 mins or so before hand.
post w/o, you might look into some of the powders that contain digestive enzymes. there's a few out there, some that even include lactase to help you digest the lactose.
just a thought...
