Have any of you used this product before? What was your experience with it? Good? Not worth it?
The ingredients for one pill is 30mg. guggulsterones and the recommended dosage is 3 pills.
I'm 18 and trying to cut my bf%(hovering around 10-12% currently) into the low single digits so I was wondering if this product could "**** up" my thyroid at all? Yes diet is in check don't worry bout that but I was just interested in this supplement.
Trys - what do ya think?
Wiz - your opinion please?
Severed Ties - whatcha think?
Of course everyone else chime in!;)

tried it. hated it. it's a pretty sucky guggul product, not worth the cost.
the brand i prefer and have gotten great results with is Ayurved Opti-Guggul by Jarrow. that stuff is great.
and don't worry about it screwing your thyroid up...it's not a stimulative herb, it's a supportive herb.

Well, the results I'd got from guggulbolic were good but I have to say that was stacking it with Adipo at the same time,so I'm not so sure about it.
I've also tried Metabolic Thyrolean which is not so potent in guggulsterones but somehow it helps you while you're on a restricted caloric intake. Not something strong though.
Guggulsterones are great for optimal thyroid fuction support as T said but you must try some different products before you find which one is the best for you.

Unlike Tryska...I like gugglebolic from syntrax...I like to use it after I am far into my diet and my metabolism begins to get sluggish. I find it helps to kickstart me back into fat burning mode.

Made up from a natural plant extract...gugglesterones...
Costs about 15 buck a bottle...
Purported to lower cholesterol levels, support thyroid function, and helps to clear up acne...

sounds cool. how long will one of those bottles last you?

guggul sterones are a gum resin....they way they work is by supporting thyroid function which in turn, clears your skin, and lowers cholesterol levels.
it does so by, increasing iodine uptake in the thyroid, thereby creating more T4, and it also aids in t4 conversion tot he more matabolically active T3. which will increase your metabolism.
a bottle should last you about 30 days.

Tryska - thank you. As always very helpful. I'll look for that brand you mentioned. Did you order it online?
Wizard - Thanks. Did you like the Adipo? How did it compare to xenadrine or ripped fuel?
Gopro - Exactly what I was thinking, using it once my metabolism start getting sluggish further down the diet. Thanks bro!

ummm...no i didn't...but i've found it on line before...there's a couple netstores that carry jarrow products.
i'd definitely recommend it over guggulbolic. I take it because of my issues, and it's definitely stronger, i could tell a difference btwn the two.
ps - don't believe the hype on the brown guggul v yellow guggul crap. it's bs.

you are ever so welcome. :)
i'm actually quite fond of jarrow products, good quality good price. i just realized most everything i take is either from them or Nature's choice. and i take a lot o' shtuff.
you know..the guggulin actually looks quite interesting..it's a formula i've never seen before...
the second link is exactly what i take......the opti-guggul listed ont hat first link, doesn't sound right, because it's got a mg formula of guggulsterones, which isn't the notation that jarrow uses, so i'm not sure if it's a different formula, or that website is using funky info.

Yea I checked out the first like and saw 2 different formulas then checked out the second link and saw the exact one you take.
I think I will try the exact one you take and use it when my metabolism start getting sluggish further down the diet. :D

Guggulsterones work by increasing t4 to t3 conversion in the liver.. they are a potent anti-oxident there.

Ok the Opti-Guggul by Jarrow reccomends a dosage of 3 capsules per day. Each capsule contains Commiphora Mukul 500mg (Standardized for 3.5% Guggulsterones).
Tryska - How many do you take per day?
Macro - You post at elite huh? I don't but I've read some of your posts and you are one smart mofo! Post here too bro I think you will like it here! IMO this is the best forum. No bs here at all! How many capsules would you reccomend per day?
