Is it possible that I can pause within 5 pounds of my current touch and go max? Because I tested my max the other day...By pausing and I got all the way from 240 to 260 increasing 5 pounds a time and nailed it all the way up to 260 is it possible for it to be that close?
Yes, of course it is.
Just train with a pause all the time if you plan on competing. Why is that so difficult?

its not I'm just saying when I tested it I planned on getting like 245 or so...I got all the way up to 260 paused...I was like...Oh hell yeah...And I dont even have a shirt yet :evillaugh
Just be sure to get plenty of work in with your shirt before trying to compete. My last comp this kid showed up with a brand new shirt, never used before. (I should mention this kid is the WR holder in BP for teens in 165, 181 and 198 classes in APA). Well, he completely bombed out of the meet. He couldn't even get the shirt to touch, and he didn't even bring his old shirt with him.

If you do not bounce the weight on your touch and go then it is very possible. It sounds however that you may have even more left in you. Going from 240-260 in 5lbs increments leaves me to believe that there was a lot of wasted energy and that you may be at a higher max!!

I dunno I havent maxed as of late. However, I would like to say that I used to get 225 for 3 now I have it for 5 so if my max is not going up my 2pps is
