I've seriously thought about stopping training or simply maintaining my pecs for a while because I think my tris and delts are having a hard time playing catch-up. Is this a wise idea? Maybe I should post something in one of the other forum sections.

Some new photos, taken outside Gold's Venice...I didn't take any shirtless cause it was too cool out, but I'll have some soon. Currently 230, so don't expect me to look pretty, just big. :evillaugh

Thanks ectx, I'll try to tone 'em down for next time. Good thing I didn't do shirtless shots...

Rookie, thanks as always for all the support and encouragement. You're the best.

Manveet, thank you. It's uphill for me to get my delts and arms up to my chest development, but I think I'm making strides little by little.

Ok, its unecessary talk about ur chest, so lets talk about some "problems"
U need a little more shoulders and biceps peak, as you have a big arm but not well formed. These are my advices. But still looking pretty huge... LOL... I wish I had ur genetics for chest.

Yes, I completely agree. Delts have come up some since I started doing more upright rows and less press work, since presses go straight to my front delts, not the medials. I also need to learn to flex them better when taking photos.

Yeah, bicep peak is not a natural gift of mine. Someone else recommend faschial stretching. I've been battling some tendonitis, so they're especially flat in some of these shots, but even whenthey're 100%, I don't know that there's that much difference.

Thank you very much for your input though. I bet it's warm in Brazil this time of year. It's freezing here. :-p

Abs? who said anything about abs? ;-)

Non-existent at this point. It's rare that I have abs except in the summer. Partially by choice since I'm more concerned about bulking most of the time.

Legs, on the other hand, I am intending to do. Just have to have a friend take the shots since my webcam doesn't reach that far.

What do you do for chest? (volume, reps, sets, excercises, how often etc)
What do you bench?
How tall are you?

3 questions, otherwise superior physique.

The peak is a combination of genetics (insertion point) and low bodyfat. How do you suppose he remedies the former?

Thanks very much.

I'm not a particularly strong bencher, it's just I have a broad chest and narrow shoulders, so when I do bench, it goes right to the meat of the pec. I've noticed the guy with the wide delts and thick arms tend to have less-developed chests. God divides, huh...

I don't even barbell bench anymore. Just annoyed my shoulders. I do inclines on the Smith, set about 30-35 degrees, occasionally 45 for variety, working around 225 for reps. My max ever was 295 for a single about 3-4 years ago, but I tend to work anywhere from 6-10, cycling rep schemes, although I occasionally throw in back-off sets of 10-12, again, just for variety.

I almost never do flat benches; after inclines (my staple), I'll do the Hammer Wide GripBench and/or the Hammer Dip, being sure to lean forward nice and deep so I hit pecs instead of tris. I was using Hammer's decline, but my pecs started getting too voluminous at the bottom, below the nipple, so I stopped those.

I'm 6'1, my favorite toothpaste is Colgate, and I'm a Sagitarius. I can also flare my nostrils on command. Anything else?

I'm still exploring avenues. I was told preacher curls...I LIKE preachers but they havent solved the peak issue. Neither have concentration curls or spider curls.

Someone mentioned recently that having long forearms, maybe my forearms are taking too much of the brunt on bicep work, and they suggested bending my wrists back to take some emphasis off of them. I've seen some competitive types occasionally doing bent-wrist incline curls and concentration curls. Anyone have any feedback on their own experience?

If his peak is low, than he has to grow up EVEN MORE his biceps to appear like a good biceps. Thats the only way.

Ps.: Hulk... here in Brazil is REALLY HOT AS HELL. Unfortunatly I dont live in a city close to the beach =/

Never had traps of any consequence before, so the past couple years have been fun watching them grow, and I've finally learned how to control them a little better... sort of like being able to bounce my pecs.

Haha..that's a good comparison..Boston is like a small NY (with a better baseball team). :D

Xand - what are you eating to gain weight at that pace besides small children and whole animals?
