I'm taking green tea and was wondering how much in mg should I be taking a day. Currently I'm taking 4 pills a day (at 150mg of tea each) making 600mg green tea my daily intake. Is this enough?

Yes, 600mg is good. The average dose is 400-800mg.

I would adjust your dosage of green tea extract based on its EGCG content.

What's it for, general health or fat loss?

Doesn't anyone drink tea anymore??? I doubt just like protein shakes aren't as good as real food, green tea pills don't give nearly all the benefits that the tea does.
To each their own!

Yeah I go to WalMart usually to get it. It's everywhere though, I actually saw it in an Irving the other day.

I drink it. I actually make a gallon of it at a time and drink it out over a 3-4 day period. I gotta have the caffeine kick in the morning right when I get up, or things just don't happen. I'll make a cup of hot Oolong when I get to work.

Depends on your goals. As far as EGCG is concerned (which is the main player as far as using green tea for thermogenesis/fat loss), you would need to drink quite a few cups of green tea to get an optimal dosage.
