Ok, I admit that men's health has a lot of stupid advice, but I still enjoy reading it. But what is up with the recommended protein shakes that contain 1 tsp of protein powder. Has anybody heard of anybody ever doing this?

I wouldn't even consider a shake with 1 tsp of protein in it a "protein shake", unless you added 1/2gal milk or a 6oz chicken breast to the blender, or a can of salmon/tuna.
Prolly wouldn't taste very good though.

Could you elaborate on what else is in that shake?

Things like:
1 banana
1/2 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
1/8 cup frozen orange juice concentrate
1/2 cup 1% milk
2 teaspoons whey powder
6 ice cubes, crushed

That's a protein shake? Looks more like a carb shake to me.
