View Full Version : Would you say I'm on track?

Age: almost 19 (2 months)
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 145ish (under 150 right now grrrr)

Anyway, I eat 4000 or so cals a day; sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less.

I'm going for a "clean bulk"; we both know what foods that means...

You think I'm getting enough cals for a bulk? I can tell I've gained a little bit of BF, but not enough to change belt holes or anything...

I'm in my 3rd week of official bulk and my lifting has been going up nicely; I've noticed increases in leg strength the most.

I think you get enough cal for someone at your size, I'm 6'3" and Im eating at only 3000-3200 cal a day when im bulking, but well my maint is only around 2600ish or so

I haven't weighed myself, but visually, I can tell I'm gaining. So, I guess I'm right. Like I said, it fluctuates from day to day, but I never dip below 3500.

should probably be weighing yourself weekly, and getting bodyfat tested maybe 2 times a month. this way you can gauge if you're gaining too much fat or just right, or if you're not increasing weight at all.

We're the same height, but you have a drastically higher metabolism than me. if i look at 4,000 calories my weight goes up.

Weigh 1 time a week on the same day right when you get up nekkid.
