Free bottle of Tribulus

Upon going to the health food store this weekend i recieved a free bottle of NOW brand Tribulus 500mg. The supplements guy who is very knowledgeable said it would help testosterone and is an excellant addition to ZMA.

Can someone tell me alittle more about this stuff?

I heard on here that it doesn't give results, but i figured i would guinea pig it and see what i got as far as results.

I have used tribulus. First off it needs to be at least 45% steroidal saponins to have any effect. tribulus raises your LH which your body then turns into test and estrogen. It raises both your test and estrogen. When you take it you should all so take a progestin, to block the estrogen.

I take it that guys can get gynecomastia from it?

i was just informed of that, though i was unsure...i thought it caused natural testosterone production, didn't know that it would also effect estrogen levels....

I highly doubt it. I've been taking tribestan for a while now and haven't had any negative effects, except a kidney stone or two. Although, I was drinking and loading up on the stuff at the same time, not smart. Tribulus didn't give me any strength or size gains but it sure does make you feel good in the morning! Nice and pumped. I suggest loading up before you sleep and when you wake up. Also, drinking a lot of water throughout the day will help prevent any stones from forming. BTW, I would only buy tribestan, tribostan, and prolab's horny goat weed (tribulus inside).

Supposedly that's true if your estrogen levels are too low. It is supposed to regulate estrogen levels so if your levels are too high it would lower them. That's why people stack andro with tribulus. Not my opinion, just what I've heard.
