No thanks.

yes, pushups/situps are responsible for alittle of my current body, but when I use to do them i'd over-do it a ton, my day was basically 6AM: go to school, get home at 6pm from gymnastics, do 700 pushups, hundreds of situps, and i use to curl with a 3 lb weight too =) - every single day, was a major overwork.

What's the point of 700 push-ups and hundreds of sit-ups? And I didn't say you didn't build a chest with push-ups...I just meant I'll stick with other exercises. You do have some crazy abs though, I must admit.

Antonious
09-27-2005, 05:04 PM
There is no point, I progressed for a short amount of time, but then stopped completely.

Then I did max-ot for alittle, I made some gains, now i'm doing wbb1

wow im guessing you got alot of that muscle from gymnastics cause alot of guys who do that are really ripped

Congratulations, you're lean. BUT WAIT! You're 15 years old - you should be eating a ton and packing on muscle while you're primed to do so. We don't need more pictures, we need you to go to your fridge and clean it the hell out.

Antonious
09-29-2005, 06:59 AM
gymnastics isn't that influential to my muscular gains, It only lasts a few months and I don't do it over the summer, its just the only sport I do.

How long did it take you to get those mad abs?

Antonious
09-29-2005, 02:32 PM
I don't even work my abs directly anymore..

Any more useful comments

by the way galileo, i'm not that lean or atleast not lean enough to go eat a fridge.

Gymnastics are awesome. If my weight didn't flunctuate so much in such short amounts of time I would take it up.

Antonious

It's extremely challanging, i've actually got an amature bodybuilder as a coach, so it's pretty cool.

Read this. Your physique before was really good considering you didn't lift weights. I'm betting your gymnastics played a major role.

Antonious

Amazing read, thanks deadlifter, gymnastics might of played a role somewhat, I started doing gymnastics freshman year, now i'm a only a sophmore.

"We have a very fine former collegiate football player (65", 250) in our facility who's young, in shape, has benched 400 pounds and looks as though he power cleans the entire gym, yet he struggled with only 45 pounds on one of my parallel bar weighted push-up variations. One of my little guys weighing only 65 pounds also did 45 on this very same exercise!"

Gynmastics is teh key, NOT pushups.

I would do gymnastics, but alas, I weigh 260lbs and doing an Iron Cross at 260lbs would rip my arms from their sockets.

If you say so. 6 pack = pretty lean just for future reference...at least that's how I would classify it.

ok.. it's definitely the gymnastics.

i was gona say.. i been lifting years and u still look better than me. gymnasts have incredible, albeit short, physiques.

Antonious
10-10-2005, 09:49 AM
gymnastics for me screws up my recovery periods at times, but its alot better to take the class instead of gym because in gym they make you lift weights (regardless weather you do it at home) which can completely screw up your recovery periods.

I'm avoiding strength events now, and just working on floor because it doesnt screw up recovery periods too bad and i want to be a ninja.

pushups are teh key!

Antonious

The "old" picture is seriously just from pushups, and 3lb dumbell variations (I had some weird stuff) mostly every night. The physique presesnt in the old picture is accomplishable for most anyone with just pushups(the 3lb)basically everything i did. however, i stopped progressing after a couple months of doing this(but still did it for more months), I finally took up weightlifting with a first routine of max ot(tiny gains), and now wBb1(big gains) -edit, forgot to mention, when I first started weightlifting my routine was bigger then arnolds for about 2 weeks (I thought the more, the better) I use to do 4hr a night and ONLY upper body  :bash:

Jumping on the you-didn't-get-that-"old"-physique-from-pushups bandwagon. Gymnastics built you my man, and now lifting is making your explode. And yes, you are lean as hell. You look better than me, and I'm four years your senior.

Antonious
01-11-2006, 05:21 PM
Dude, I was not very big in that old pic, I was lean as hell, and starving myself 24/7, then coming home and doing pushups.

ROMANMAN

I dont get why youre scared to tell us youre lifts, also pushups are not the key so STHU.

Antonious

Estimates, before I was injured
Squat - 245x15 - not to failure, no spotter.
Bench - 240
Dead - Somewhere around 300.

Now shut the fauk up and read what I was saying, I'm saying I was stupid when I ****ing did pushups, which was part of the joke "pushups are teh key", however, they built that OLD physique i had in the OLD photo.

I'm sorry I offended you all with the pushup statement, Go eat a bomb.

edit- stop bumping my old ****ty picture threads.

Awesome genetics built your physique in the old pic, and probabyl played the greatest role in the later pic. You're physique is unbelievable for someone who just turned fifteen. I was a skinny piece of crap when I was 15, no amount of pushups or gymnastics would have changed that.
