Hi guys I was wondering if drinking 6 to 8 bottles of beer on the weekend would make a big difference in me losing my gut, thanx.

I don't see how drinking beer is going to have any positive effects on weight loss. If anything, it's going to be harder for you to lose your gut.

Alcohol bites you in the ass three ways:
It interferes with protein synthesis
It interferes with fat burning
It has empty calories
Think about it - there's a REASON why they call it a "beer gut".
Decide which idea you love more - having a case of beer on the weekend, or losing the gut.
Then live with your decision.

~150 cals a beer x 8=1200 calories. Up to you if you can fit 1200 cals into your diet. Thats alot of cardio to just burn off some beer.

But it's actually even WORSE than this because of the protein synthesis and fat burning problems.
PLUS it affects your judgement. So you're more likely to eat chips, peanuts, pizza...

I absolutely cant not drink beer. It makes cutting difficult.

Alcohol calories aren't really an issue - your body won't store nearly any of it as fat.
However, as others have mentioned, it puts fat metabolism on hold (whether from stored fat or food that you take in while you're drinking), along with lowering test levels, protein synthesis, screwing up your stomach and liver, etc, etc.
If you have to drink, I'd replace the beer with something that doesn't include as many carbs.

i dont think 6-8 bottles a week is really gonna make a huge difference, cut out a couple snacks and you should be fine.
